Toys For
The Small Boys
I was watching a local TV show last
night with Baron and one segment that caught his attention is the one that
featured toy collections. Of course, he is only 8 years old.
He popped up the question “are those
toys really valuable?”. I told him those are collectables and are rare and so, priced
quite high after sometime.
After finishing the segment, he made a
decision to be a toy collector from now on.
Now choosing a toy to collect could be
a tough task for a 2nd Grader , but, he made a start with the sets
that he already have…Transformer (the blue Optimus Prime which I bought from
Dubai 4 years ago), RCs, and mostly Lego-copies that I buy from Manila because
they are good “creativity enhancers” and not that expensive compared to the
real Lego series.
What do I have to do with all this? Well, I was asked to help out by cleaning the toys that his Mom already
hid away inside the storage room. All dusty, but, still have the shine of them new
toys. Some are still inside the box.
After dusting off the toys, he lined
them up quickly and made a promise to them that he will be a better Master than
before.
Wow…if his Woody and Buzz LightYear action
figures were still around, they probably sing to the tune of “You got a Friend
In Me” haha!
Well, happy collecting Baron. I’m sure
I’ll end up paying for all of them anyway. Wish me luck!!!
This is Red. Thanks for coming in my Room. The Red Room.
This is very nice toys for my boys...
